Wheel arch gap?

What is the "normal" gap between the top of the 16" stock uk wheels and the rear wheel arch with standard springs?

Need to know if I've put enough weight in the boot before I can do the final torquing of the rear axle bits.

Cheers

Dave

Your supposed to have the boot as it will be when driving i.e. tools, space saver, etc and a full tank of petrol before you torque the bolts up. Otherwise you'll put strain on the bushes and bugger them prematurely. :detective:

Check the manual mate.

What I've done is put the car on 4 identical ramps on level ground, I can then get under to do the torquing.
