Had a look at the zed this morning and I dont rate it much for the price they are looking, sorry mate I start with the good points,

Invoice for timing belt and service probably its first service in the UK as fog light was done.

Long MOT and only done 200 miles from when MOT was done.

Invoice for new alloys and tyres £900.

Bad points

A few dings on front near side wing.

Rust (painted over) on NS cill

Rust starting on RNS wheel arch

3 feet of a key score on NS rear panel

Rear spoiler needs replaced

No fan cover in engine bay

NS engine bay painted black?

But what worries me the most is on the test drive although the turbos were spooling up the zed felt very slow compared to mine, exceleration was bad and this was a manual mine is an auto

A few other minor points but over all I would struggle to pay £1500 for it

This is just my thoughts and if you still want to see it well thats up to you but imo not worth the trip bud and you should hold out for a better one

Some photos comming up of bad points:thumbdown:

The sill lip looks to be pretty rusty, not just the blistering coming through.

feck feck feck wonder why its not good acelaration and wonder why one side of the engine bay is black also why do the invoices for belt change have a uk reg what was the milage it had the belt changed ?

to be honest m8 my m8 payed 4k for one that was worse than that body wise but the aceleration wories me wonder why that is

is it possible its threw up a fault code on the ecu like the knock sensor and its went into saftey boost ?

there is one down south thats 340 miles away from me its an 89 with 48k on the clock all post it up see what you think

Safety boost or boost leak. Usually the only two problems which are easily pretty easy to sort out.

na garys right gonna have to bide my time gotta say was gr8 of the guy to take time out and look at it did not expect that

No, I wasn't defending it, just a point to say that a huge amount of Z32s are running safety boost when it's a pretty minor issue in comparison to the rest of things.

The poor performance cause is clear to see in the engine picture, the cas unit is all the way to the right, so the timing is mega retarded or the belt is on wrong!! either way will be a major performance loss, who ever changed the belt did not understand about setting it up after, would bet things like the throttle balance will be wrong, tps, boost leaks all very common issues that get over looked by non specialists, the timing though will be the main power issue.

Invoice shows t belt changed at 52k when in the UK then at some point in came over to NI and the new owner would have the choice to change the reg to a NI one
