Front splitter is this changeable?, or whole bumper gotta be changed

Hi my front splitter on bottom of bumper is quite damaged and looks like fibreglass.

Id like to change this, does this part unbolt, so i can change it, or a aftermarket one available?

cheers

Looking at your other posts you have the standard 89 na front bumper. This is all one piece of plastic and so you have to change the entire unit. The only real difference iirc between the na and tt front bumpers is that the tt one has slats at the bottom for the intercoolers. Not needed on an na but having the slats wouldn't hurt anything other than mking it look like a tt. :-)

my bumper, the bottom left is cracked and has some wood behind it holding it together!

If i were you, i'd just go for an aftermarket front splitter that fits over the top. Will look better and saves changing the entire bumper :)

Stillen make a good one :)

where can you get them from???

just looked on stillen site, they do a bottom lip repair piece that goes over the top around $150.

Hey, ive recently just rebuilt my front bumper all all the stress points and mounting points and mine is also fibre glass, if your handy id deffo recommend doing it yourself, get some alloy drill some holes in it, fibre glass it together and it aint going to move, then filler it away and you get to keep your bumper :batman:

unless you didnt want it haha.

Hollings.

that's what i did, mine had completely snapped in 2 at the bottom, fabbed a piece of metal, fibreglass matting and resin, bit of bog, is now perfect...

mine was split so i bought the stillen one. see my rides and sig pic :)

where did you buy it from??

I did a bit of research on these stillen lips, and thanks to a bit of advice from FunkySi i found that Z1 motorsports were the cheapest.
