Hi guys, i have a tt auto and been offered a mint manual NA

is it an easy job to swap over?

Is there a write up somewhere or someone done it before, both cars running just need to replace a turbo,

Speak to Jimmer. He did the engine transplant from my SWB TT to LWB TT.

 

His work is second to none and his wife make a no bad cuppa, aswell :D

TT transplant in a NA is a LOT more work then a TT transplant into another TT, where you basically just have to move the engine (and maybe gearbox)

To put a TT into an NA, listen to what Lymon says. Or to quote from TwinTurbo net "1. It IS possible and has been done.

2. It's NOT easy.

3. It's NOT cheap.

4. It's much less economical than selling the NA and buying a TT, especially if you're not doing the work yourself.

5. To do it effectively, it's a good bet to have a spare wrecked TT around to pilfer parts from."
