Vile. Look like a pair of boxing gloves. I'd rather screw Austin Maestro wing mirrors to my car.

they look like flip flops with mirrors on

the only aftermarket i like is the ganador (i think) other than that i dont really mind standard

Standard are by far the best. Most aftermarket mirrors make the Z look like a thalidomide victim. Those awful Bomex ones especially. I see aftermarket mirrors as a downgrade as none of them are fully electric.

I like the gandor ones. there electric. but you need the kit to go with them.

Ive kept my stock ones just incase i change my mind some time :)

They aren't folding though.

i disagree i think the "look" of teh origional mirrors is nothing short of 1990's vauxhall and reminds me of a chevette i once owned , i actually hate the mirrors with a passion but love the full elctric folding and rear ward view they give .......i do not like any of the aftermarket type but would love to have something like a modena 360 mirror or vantage mirror or even a style similar to the porsche cayman / boxster just to modernise it a bit

Since the car is a 1990s car....it seems to fit! It's like trying to modernise a MK3 Ford Fiesta by sticking those horrible Audi style LEDs in the indicators. Cars look tacky of modernised too much

The mirrors IMO, still look modern. Can not see what there is to hate about them. They are in proportion with the car, a nice pleasing shape.

Ferrari 360 Modena mirrors look not too disimilar...they are just sat out a little longer.

each to their own Si ....but as im going wide arch but retaining the 99 spec front i would like to also improve on what i percieve to be a jaded piece of the design ie the mirrors ...just couldnt bring myself to do anything to drastic like Vileside or M3 with indicators built in ..as you say and i agree its a 90's car and should not be modernised too much or it will just look Barry

Could you get Merc SL55 ming mirrors with the indicators in to fit? They would look good and not drasticly different.

theres a set of 300 mirrors on fleabay at the moment with indicators built in . think they are gonna need a bit of modding to get them working though

They look nothing like the veilside mirrors Im aware off.

There are plenty of cars out there of similar age or newer with dated looking mirrors but the Z aint one of them, they are still a modern and sleek looking design.
