Planning on dropping the car a fair bit with coilovers, just wondering will 18x9 et25 be quite a comfortable fitment all round? Anybody running this size on their 300? If it's just a matter of folding up the arch lips that's cool!

ย

On a side note, how are 300's for alignment/camber correction when seriously dropped?

ย

Thanks,

David

The 18x9 ET25 will be a bit close for comfort with regards to rubbing, might not standard, but most definately if you are seriously dropping it.

As for camber and alignment, if dropped a lot, then some aftermarket suspension parts are going to be needed to make it right. Sorry, not clued up much here as my car runs standard height, but I know there isn't enough adjustment in the stock setup.

Front goes way out when dropped, you'll need adjustable camber arms and tension rods. Rears too.

As for the wheels, they'll be ok. Rears will certainly need the lips rolling and if you're planning to drop it on its ass, you'll need to trim the front arch liners.

Personally, wouldn't bother lowering it that much and would get a set of staggered wheels with slightly better fitment.

Hmmm... wonder what arms to go for though, I know people who have spent mega money on the very best makes and after a couple of years it's just snap stories.. Same with the cheaper driftwork arms etc. What ones did you go for Si?

There are no probs with DW trust me, i dont know whats got into people. one arm snaps and suddenly they are rubbish. Poppycock. I have had mine a long time been on several track days and not a single prob, incorrect fitment i would say, prob tighten the wrong way as they have left handed threads on some parts.
