The wifes Zed needs new cat pipes (Old ones rusted through) so to give a bit more response and maybe break an exhaust note that can be heard we are looking at replacement pipes.

There is a note about a precat elbow... Can anyone confirm these will fit??

 

the car is 1991 H Reg TT Manual.

Jap speed have nothing in for about 2 weeks. The car is in bits at the garage at the moment.

 

Whats this precat elbow?? the Ebayer thinks they won't fit with out the extra elbow.....

some Zeds's had precat fitted to them, they are basically mini cat type things located between the turbo elbow and downpipes. (i think)

 

personally i havn't seen one on a zed yet, but thoses pipes are for cars without the precats. so if your system looks like this...

 

you should be alright.

 

but if you have somthing similar to this... VVV ... they wont fit.
