New Product: TwinZ Design 300ZX 2+2 rear bumper with integrated diffuser

As most of you know, we already had the 2 seater version which is being sold in the US through Z1 Motorsports.

We wanted to sell our bumpers in Australia and Europe and to be able to do that, we had to finish the 4 seater bumper version first, since there's a lot more 2+2's in this part of the world.

Now that we have the 2+0 and 2+2 rear bumpers ready for production, we'll be looking for an exclusive dealer in UK to sell these and a lot of new products (new flush mount rear wing, new front bumper, side skirts, etc) that we're making for the Z32, so if anyone could recommend us a dealer or if there's a dealer interested in working with us, let us know!

We're still compiling all the costs involved to get the bumpers in UK, so it's hard to give and exact price yet, but we're looking to have a MSRP of around US$900-950 + the shipping cost that our exclusive dealer consider for each customer.

The biggest difference of this version from the 2 seater version, besides the lenght of the bumper, is that the diffuser in our 4 seater version is 10cm. wider because of the 4 seater Z's having a bigger separation between the mufflers (mostly because of the gas tank being just behind the rear subframe)...The rest of the dimensions are very similar.

We got the exhaust too low on this 2+2, but it will be fixed soon...the exhaust sitting closer to the bumper would look even nicer.

This shot really make it look like a 2 seater at first sight...

You can clearly see the bigger separation between the removable fins and the central duct...

The bumpers are made of FRP which is fiberglass with plastic resine to make it more flexible than common fiberglass...It's not as flexible as urethane, but still have some flexibity to avoid easy breakage and it's pretty easy to fix in case something happens.

Nice Avatar pic! ;)

I had completely forgotten about that photoshoot from when my car had just gotten out from a full paint job...Good times!

As you are all aware this can not turn into a trading thread in any way shape or form, and if someone tries to turn this into a trading thread it'll be closed.

Twinz, if you manage to secure a UK importer then the best of luck to you as I'm sure there will be members on here that'll certainly buy them.

Looks like... very much like my Do-Luck rear bumper.

Not sure if they are functional or not as a diffuser, but certainly looks good. :)

Old Picture... haven't got a chance to get some new one yet.

Yup, I think this is the only rear bumper I've seen that I like 100%! It's really nice to see good styling products that SUIT the car. There is such a high amount of hideous styling add-ons for the Z it's untrue, so it's a breath of fresh air to see something developed that really does compliment the original lines of the car! I don't like the front end at all though, but the rear is perfect.

I for one am very interested!

is the diffuser part available on it's own?

Cheers

Yes, this is a great looking product and one that I hope can be brought into the UK.

But at the moment "The Twinz" is not a subscribed member and consequently is not permitted to sell on the forums. I realize that the they have asked about a UK distributor and would refer them to our traders so see if anyone is interest in importing them.

Otherwise please refer to Znut - the club's TLO regarding any other possibilities for selling on this forum.

For the time being the other moderators and I think it's best to close this thread to prevent any misunderstandings.

Thanks for understanding - and to "The Twinz" good luck with the product!
