This as bothered me for a while, under this black trim I could see black as well as silver and it looked untidy. :crying:

I took the wiper arms off and then both pieces of trim, it revealed areas of black overspray or underspray if you like, this removed quite easily and it all returned back to a pleasing silver.

Then gave everything on the car a thoroughly cleaning.

Sprayed up gloss black on the trim, as you imagine over time they do sun fade.

Sprayed and livened up the finish on the wiper arms.

A simple job and another well worth the time and effort. :thumbup1:

The day after I did this job I drove to work 5.5 miles and parked up safely at 8am. :thumbup1:

At about 10.30am I walked past the car and thought what a good job I did the day before. :thumbup1:

At 12.30pm I got in the car and saw this bloody crack, aaaaaaaarrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh. :mad2:

Where the hell did that come from??

Linked to the job I did the day before??

All the panels went back as sweet as a nut with no stress on the windscreen at all.

Can Autoglass make it disappear??

Have looked at my policy and it's £50.00 xs with no affect on the ncb, so will have to go down that road, I guess.

Any other guys had new screens in? Had any problems with, etc.
