That's really nice! Well done. Great looking car and the only pearl yellow slicktop I know of over here.

Personally couldn't have a Z without the targas, but the slicktops are rare. Slickpete will be foaming at the mouth!

Think those are the Bomex extensions on that. Shame the skirts have been screwed in. I'm sure you can get that sorted at some point and the windscreen/roof weatherstrips recoated black.

Thanks, I am beyond chuffed! Think the bloke realised he undersold it, he was getting offers for over the asking price, but being a gent, and as I was the first caller, he kept it for me and I gave him the asking price. So now the fun really begins. MR2? What MR2?!!! Ha!!!!

Oooooh yes its very nice indeed:thumbup:

Pearl Yelow is not on my list of colours that I like but hey ho it doesnt detract from a nice car at the end of the day.

As Si has already mentioned just a few minor improvements in trim etc will make this 100%

Wow, thats one sweet ride. no wonder you're chuffed lol.

Loving the bodykit and wheels :)

Anyone know what front splitter that is and does it just fit over the stock front? i kinda want one.

Thanks all, she is just beeeeyooootiful :tongue_smilie:

The front splitter almost just came off! Got an incline on my drive as you can see in my pic - and the lip is almost on the deak. Tried putting her away for the night by driving in as per usual and the lip hit the deck. Not an easy job but she'll have to be reversed into the garage. Just managed it without anyone checking my proximities for me and it was fine - this is where the electric folding mirrors of my MR2 were quite handy (...I'll get me coat lol...)

Still can't believe that I OWN A Z!!!! Car of my dreams - in my garage, mint condition, less than 1500 notes. SWEEEEET

Def lots of niggly things to sort out - like wtf would anyone screw on skirts?? That needs addressing as does the trim in places. And a guide to wtf all the switches and gadgets do as I'm buggered if I can work em all out!!!

Ah, I am so excited. Can you tell?!

Very pleased for you and you will get the hang of it ;)

no elec folding mirrors on your one though?? that can be sorted!!

I tought all ZEDs have electric folding mirrors

PS, please tell me there is a quick fix to that bloody irritating bing, bing, bing sound when I go over 100kph! Its like the car is telling me off! OH and getting the clocks to MPH - easy? Worth it? Coz I have no idea by how much I was breaking the speed limit on the way home.....

It is entirely possible that I just haven't found the button yet lol - its more like commanding the starship enterprise than a car after an MR2!

Not all zed's have the elec folding mirrors as far as i'm aware not 100% sure there though, some where heated though....on the clocks do a thread about that or have a search it's been covered on a few occasions ;)

LOL the blue lights in your rear mirror may be an indication to ease of the pedal

Lol, its not the boys in blue so much as those gatso cameras on the M1!!

Just trying to find out if you lot ever have gatherings and if there are any owners close by....

Welcome, Nice Slicky !!

All Jap Imports have electric folding mirrors (its just in front of the centre console armrest)

UK Models do not.

Easiest and best way to convert to MPH is to Buy a set of UK Clocks from a breaker. Typically sell for £80-£100.

To remove the bong you need to remove the panel above Speedo cluster and either cut a wire (to disable the speed chime) or unplug the speaker (to remove all warning noises).

There is a link with exact details, I will find it.
