Try checking the injectors , you should get a resistance of 10-14 Ohm across the connectors.

I would speak to the garage and ask them if they touched/disconnected anything else while working on your car

It could be dodgy coil-pack connectors! Especially if they have fitted new plugs as they would of had to remove these to gain access, so it could be a broken connector clip or green gunge on the pins inside the plugs.

As you have a bad back I'd suggest getting a friend to remove the plug connectors on all of them and see if they need a good clean and check for broken clips.

I would come and give you a hand bud, but it's a hell of a long way ;)

HTH and best of luck

Dave

Is the PTU connect firmly attached. If you lost one and then another it could be working it's way free.

guys again i thank you all for taking the time , i will do as you suggest

bob on, i did this turned out my connecters were made out of blue playdoh, rewired and made new connecters (really anal) lol and it never misses a beat, ppl tend to find after they'v done plugs or injecters that they get a missfire when really its just shite connecters due to moving them?!?!
