I like a really broad spectrum of music from rock, to jazz, to funky drum n bass, but this has to be my number one driving tune. Infact there are quite a few 80s era tunes that I love listening to in the car. This decade produced some of the greatest tunes ever IMO.

What's your favourite driving tune?

Second place.

Whaaat? :hurl: Frilly shirted new romantics, bloody disco,

There's No-one quite like Grandma In fact, just take a look at the 1980's jukebox on that page. Coward of the County - Kenny Rodgers, Xanadu, Together we are beautiful - Fern Kinney. OMFG. Ok, I'll accept the Jam, Pretenders, Specials and Blondie, but "greatest tunes ever"?

Here's three quickies which are definitely great driving tracks and need caution not to get points.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCeD_6Y3GQc (nice wheels on the cover)

(Nobody gonna take my car I'm gonna race it to the ground Nobody gonna beat my car it's gonna break the speed of sound...)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jxmDYw3mrY (foot tapper even on a Monday morning)

Now those are great tunes

Tell you what, the saddest but best driving tune ever is the score from Back To The Future.

I challange anyone to try driving with that playing and it not make you smile and want to go faster and faster as it build up and gets louder and faster and then you wanna go back in time!!!!!!!!!
