I phone app question

Just a quick question in case anyone is in the know.

 

If i were to buy a new i phone 4 (not that i can afford it yet) would i be able to upload all my existing apps from my 3gs 16gig through iTunes or would i have to buy them all again?

 

This would be a major part of the deciding process.

    i have the iphone, i love it. its quicker and the camera is great been well impressed so far
