Din Gauges

I want to put gauges into the spare din slot on my dash board. I have a "normal" stereo in the top slot, and just empty space in the bottome. I do have a rather nice CF effect dash insert (well I like it!) will the gauges fit below the stero or should I move the stereo down (if this is possible?)

I assume there is something better than this, not sure about the staggered affect tbh but I was thinking along these lines? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RADIO-SLOT-BOOST-GAUGE-POD-3X-52MM-STD-DIN-SLOT-CARBON-/190405397573?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c550bcc45

I would like:

Oil Temperature

Oil Pressire

Water Temperature

Being a total pleb when it comes to this sort of thing I'm not sure where I need to even start looking, I have looked at gauges on ebay and they seem to range from £20-£30 to £100 a piece or so... has anyone got any suggestions as to what might look best? I do have a Defi Boost gauge mounted on the dash to the right of the instrument hood which is blue when lit up.

For the oil temperature, I assume I'm going to need a sensor for this?

Oil pressure, can I use the stock sender? Or should I get another one and leave the stock oil pressure gauge working?

Water Temperature: Can I use the stock sensor, will this mean the stock water temperature guage stops working (not that works well in the first place!)

Hi,

Best din plate to get for 52m guages is from the zcentre !

I've currently got a two guage fitted but funny enough my new three guage din plate

just arrived yesterday ready to fit.

I'll get some pics posted shortly but here the link to the site for now :

Cool cool, which guages did you get it in the end? Also what senders did you use?, will look forward to pictures!

I went with the Drift Iridium from the zcenter.

Bought them last month but they ran out of stock of the 3 din holder.

Luke from the zcenter includes the senders when you buy them along with instructions

for fitting, i'm planning on installing the 3 din holder at the weekend so the pics below

only show the 2 din version with the voltage guage missing.

But i think they look great !

So the weekends here and nearly gone so thought i'd update you all and post the

pics of the three din version of the guage holder above from the zcentre.

The only issue i had with the install is that the chrome bezel arround the guage has

to be removed to fit all three into the holder; but this actually brings the guages closer

in to the holder and makes a better finnish overall.

That does look great! Much better without the chrome rings! Although I will admit its quite a pricey upgrade it seems! Looking like £260 + delivery. I suppose if it includes the senders and wiring etc its not bad.

Yeh, senders are included, bought the guages over a month and a half ago and

had to wait till now to get the holder.

Was speaking to luke from the zcentre and he has plans to start making kits to replace

the oem dials in the dash with the digial type, I was actually planning this myself and

getting an old guage cluster and retro fitting new digital guages; but as you said expensive kit.
