Hi guys, take a look at the ConZult mapping screen shot, the mapping is for a mid ninetys non turbo, no running issues, just a flipping strange map, any thoughts why it would be so odd looking ????????

Whats on the table here? Obviously RPM on right, Ignition Advance on right, is that Throttle position on the bottom (0-80)? If so that looks like they forgot to map the rest lol! no light starts for that guy XD

I second corrupted, all you need is one high order bit to change from zero to one and you have a value an order of magnitude larger, which appears to be the case in this map. The question is, will it retain a new map correctly?

may have been a read error from the conzult software.

Does it come up with that map every time ? (after restarting the software)

if so, it's probably a corrupted ROM

Any chance of a good map chart to compare too please. I want to check mine but not sure what it supposed to look like?

it should be nice and smooth..

eg. a stock map looks like this:

Jeff, I just noticed you mentioned it's from a mid ninetys non turbo.

It could be a 16 bit ROM/ECU.

Sometimes if the conzult software doesn't detect it's a 16-bit ECU correctly you may get maps looking like that...

What's the ECU part number ?

sorry to thread jack...

Hi lymon, any change of some info re: mappings for my cars spec?

I'd rather give you a run down & specs via email.

cheers.
