Anybody else bought the LED conversion reverse/fog lights from zedwizz and the reverse lights dim slightly in sync with the beeper?

It sounds like the beeper in the reverse circuit is draining voltage that you want to go directly to the lights. Get rid of the beeper and it should be fine. I have no idea where it is, but if you find the little bugger let me know, cos i want to get rid of my reverse beeper lol

Is the beeper an after market thing as i've done the led conversion and mines fine !

I've got the beeper too. what the HELL is it for??

 

I put the car in reverse, i know i'm going backwards, why do i need a beeper? wouldn't care but it's only audable inside the car? usually you have the sound OUTSIDE the car/van/truck to warn other people you're going in reverse!!

Its only on automatics, but havent found it yet lol

doing some research on this and on the oz forums they say the beeper is under the dash

Well the cables in the pic are the ones that goto the pods so should be able to get

to it if you take the top of the dash cover off and thats easy done, you can also see the chime unit for the lights and so on at the far right of the pic which sits behind the dials

I had all that off last night, grrrr, unplugged the other bonger, the reverse ones gettin a spanking tomorrow then, i'll post up if it cures it....

The autobox was an option for the one legged man :wheelchair::lol::lol:

Lol. was referring to the annoying beep rather than the box :lol:

 

Plus, the auto box is perfect for people like me who use the car as a daily and end up sitting in traffic half the time :)

I'll check this out over the weekend. The test car was an auto which was also fitted with parking sensors and i cant remember it having this problem.

could just be my car mate, everything on it has/had been butchered and bodged by a monkey's pet ferret...
