volk racing alloys (what are they worth)

i have a set of volk racing alloys 17in with 225 tyres, what are they worth if anything. they are silver with crome outer.

    thought so. were on the car when i got it. time for a change me thinks. what is a good alloy to fit i have got bout £1000 for for a set. any advice/point in the right direction welcome. I no intention of selling on here but thanks for pointing it out.
