well after trawling through a load of piffle that had no bearing on horse power id say you may get detonation at high boost as your head gaskets are thin but if that plays ball you may see 500 at the wheels possibly.

Edited list!

Ive had this issue from the beginning the company who supplied the gaskets

I was told the gaskets would be ok due to todays tuning capabilities.

Ive always been unsure with this :(

I don't thing the head gasket on its own would be a huge problem but its not going to be helped by adding skimmed heads to it.

Will be very interested to see what it makes and when boost starts coming in, I'm sure you will still get very good power from that lot

Its not going to effect boost coming in your raising the compression ratio which is good for off boost but will probably require timing to be retarded a tad more when its mapped, as long as you entrust it to some one who knows what they are doing I'm sure you will end up with a very powerful Z

Thanks Fri1 ive sent an email to the supplier who originally supplied the gaskets and various other parts. At the time i raised the same question and he assured me it would be fine.

As ive had no experience in building engines ive relied on other people to help.

I just hope it all works ok after all this time building this Zed

Thanks
