Taking mine for cambelt and a few other odds and ends.

 

I'll be leaving the north side of Bristol about 6 - 630 to head up the M5 with a view to get there for 8ish.

As I don't know the area very well, do you want to propose a time and a place to meet up? Motorway services or something. I'll be coming from Tockington/Thornbury area.

 

Just to say, I'm not planning a 'gung ho' run up the road. I'm a little nervous about the state of my cambelt having not long bought the car and don't want to grenade the engine on the way there. And at the time of writing mine's still limited. :blushing:

OK Rod, normally I wouldnt go as far as Bristol to go toward Brum but If I come over the bridge I can meet you at say Junction 16 of the M5. Don't know whats around there but I do know there is a Hilton @ BS32 4JF. We can just jump on the M5 and get on our way then!

Surely you woudl go up the M50!

Yeah, we could do that, or there's another hotel called the Aztec Spa which is 'slightly' more conspicuous on the main roundabout just off the M5, but I was thinking more about meeting at services further up the M5 to save you going out of your way too much.

 

I'm happy either way bud', whatever's easiest for yourself.
