Changing locks and ignition

Hi guys...as you may have seen on my other thread my flat was burgled last night. Luckily they didn't get the car but they did get both sets of my original titanium keys and alarm fobs!

My question is....does anyone know if there's any restrictions in terms of getting my locks changed?? I have absolutely no idea about the locks and ignition and not sure how easy it would be to change and get some replacement titaniums keys???

Any advice at all would be most welcome! Just so busy trying to sort my life out after all this....:mad2:

Its fairly easy to change the locks mate. Finding a titanium keys/lock set may be a struggle though. Have you got anyway of securing the car? Would hate for the thieving scum to get your zed.

Hmm...do you know if I can just get an auto lock specialist to change them over or if it's better to source parts direct from nissan, etc??

Car's in the garage and they don't know which garage it is so that's some comfort. Plus I've got the only key. Otherwise not much else I can do. Pulled the fuel pump fuse so they won't be driving anywhere. My alarm system has an immobiliser which I can activate by texting it from my mobile so will just do that I guess....no way they can get around that...not even with the alarm fob.

I would have thought that a new set form nissan would cost a fortune. Have a word with Jeff at zedworld, he should be able to source you a second hand set. The locks are simply removed and replaced with the new ones. The only tricky bit is the security screws holding the ignition barrel on, you'll need to drill these out. But it's pretty much a plug and play job.
