As some are aware i got the car sprayed last year but there are some light scratches and swirls. Whats the best polish for this? Just dont want to order the wrong stuff as the german stuff dont seem that good.

T-cut isn't that great and steer clear of Colour Magic. Colour Magic only masks the problem, it doesn't have any paint correction properties. You need a mild cutting compound. G3 is pretty good as has been suggested. Might be worth taking it to a detailer to get the car machine polished. Not only will it get rid of the blemishes you see, it'll give the overall clear coat a much better and deeper shine.

ย

If you do it yourself, make sure you then use a lighter polish after the G3 and then top it up with a quality wax.

Same thought much better explanation :thumbup1::thumbup1:

Always used AutoGlym. Found it not to abrasive, the 350Z paint is really thin and it works a treat on that.

ย

I have tried the Autoglym paint renovator and it does work well on light swirls and sctarches. Don't laugh, but I have also tried this stuff.......

......and I was very impressed with the results!!

ย

My SLK is Obsidian black and shows every single mark, even is someone accidentally walks past it; so I'm pretty paranoid about keeping the finish like new.

ย

Both the Autoglym and JML products gently remove swirls and light scratches quite easily. Afterwards, give the paint a polish with Autoglym super resin polish and finish with any good top coat (eg Colinite, Meguairs ot Turtle Wax Platinum Extra Gloss Protection) to seal it in.
