Well shes finally in the shop looking very sorry for herself, So far weve stripped the rear end, lights, ariel, rear wiper going for the smooth look.

also started working on the little dents and dings, removed all the windcreen trims and got me plasticote to refurb them. next is to cut out the drivers side sill at the rear as its full of rust and see what its like.

heres whats being fitted

AB Flug style front bumper

99spec silver/chrome headlights

single slot centre panel

viper front wings

bomex side skirts

demon rear bumper

smoothed lip spoiler

by the time the respray is complete the new engine and manual box should be ready to go in. Also sat at home ready is the new exhaust system and 19" Jade R alloys

ill put more pics and updates as build progresses.

Did the heat do the trick??

I would ditch the arches they dont fit :lol:

Yeah heat did the trick nicely, and what do you mean ditch the arches???

Thats cool. i thought it would

Ditch as in sell them on and fit stock. Never fit fiberglass wings. Once the sun hits them and they start to warp the look shocking. I have a close up pic somewhere

my last zed had teh same wings and it looked great, Im sticking with them for now.

Problem with black is in summer it really soaks up the heat and it will do the same affect as it did with the spoiler.

So with it being a panel half will be get hot and the bottom half will be cooler (direct sunlight etc) so it will push and pull against its self and lose its shape and also ripple

With your last colour metalic it would reflect the heat better. Also on a black car you see reflections more

Here is the pic

Any other car yeah but on black you will see

i can live with that and at the worst i can always go back to normal boring wings if need be.

never know i i know a very good metal fabricator might just get him to make some.

There is one way to stop it and that to back it up with woven roven. its like carbon fiber but its cheap because its clear. or you can use core mat

By the way Dave, your bits in the post tomorrow with a courier, the PO wouldnt take the skirts lol, too big or long for them to handle in their little cage

Cheers mate. HUGE help :clap::clap:

Craigs leds should be fine, I wired them slightly differently, but i would double check them first Craig with a 9v battery or car battery, before you seal them in for peace of mind lol
