spacer question.........

If i had a set of alloys, fronts being offset of 30 which is perfect i am lead to believe for them to fill the arches.........rears would be 32 offset though, what spacers would i need to resemble a 35offset, to fill the arches?

I have 20mm spacers but would this be to much?

also.........if i had 35 offset rears and 32 offset fronts would they stick out to much or what? would spacers be needed and what size?

8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears? same for both scenarios.

Hmmmmmmmm......its wether to take these wheels i can get. They are the wheels i want, just a poor offset. I had thought funkysi's where 30 front and 35rear with 8.5 and 9.5.

Yes the rears with an offset of 32 will be right on the edge, flush with the arches or maybe even a little proud.

Funkysi runs 9.5 ET 35 on the rears, ET32 means sticks OUT an extra 3mm

I think he has a 20 or 25mm spacer on the front to correct his offset to around ET20 with the 8.5 fronts he has.

JoelyP is right, you won't need spacers for the rear and a 10mm spacer for the fronts will make the effective offset ET20 which should be bang on.

yeh, as tg says simon does have a higher offset wheel with spacers to get it right. if they are what you want at a good price then they are worth a gamble tbh, if if doesn't work out you can sell em on. you can call arch enemy out to sort the arches out if it catches or play around with tyre widths if you dont mind a slight stretch...

im going to be fitting 9" front and 10" rear

et 35 on the front and 42 on the rear. im just repainting the car so rolling would be better now than later.

im looking for a nice flush fitment and will run a 225 on the front and a 255 on the rear as i would like a bit of strech.

think i should be ok might even get a 10mm spacer on the front

not that it matters but the wheels are 17" enkei rp01s

I have a 8.5inch front with offset of ET23 and my wheels are not quite flush, your 9inch ET35 would sit about 6mm in compared to mine. A 10mm spacer would then push your wheel 4mm further out then mine. Should be bang flush.

your rears won't require a spacer, but should you use a 10mm on the front the front track will be wider than the rear (just) so might be better to use a 5mm on the front to keep the rear track wider, but still have a near flush front.
