Hi,

Since my son was born 2 months ago, and despite the great weather, we simply haven't been able to go out in the Z as his seat simply won't fit in the back.

There are 2 issues:

1. The seat is so long (one of those travel system seats) that the front seat has to be pushed fully forward and even then it's a squeeze.

2. The seat belts are tiny, so no way to secure the seat.

Has anyone managed to get a baby seat in the back safely? Which seat did you use?

Looks like a lovely weekend again and I must find a way of getting him in there!

Thanks.

The problem is I also have a wife to put on the front seat. She's not tall, but she's not a midget either, and with the front seat fully forward, even a 5 year old would find it difficult!

How did you belt the seat, as it's so short?

when using the zed i got a britax maxium the base of it lift/presses into the seat cushion via a lever...works great in the egg box rears of a zed also it tilts which is handy as the kiddy's legs do grow :)...but i do have a series 3....which comes with 3 point rear seat belts... i guess they are longer than the std lap belts...the front seat does have to shunt forward a bit but not to the very front
