Hi guys,

 

I'm not a 300zx owner, but at my place of work there is a blatantly stolen 300zx.

 

It's a highly modified Nissan 300zx GTR in Blue Fleck paint.

Custom bonnet

Custom Intercooler

Custom blue racing seats

Custom steering wheel

Loads of other mods

Bonnet is slightly open?

 

The steering column has been ripped apart, ignition barrel showing.

There is some locking mechanism on the passenger footwell.

The bootlock is missing.

 

I've contacted the police and they say the car hasn't been reported stolen.

 

The car has been sitting in the same place for a few days. It has obviously been dumped there to see if it has a tracker. The thieves will be back soon.

 

I suggest a mod sends this out to all members. Get in touch with me if this is your car!!!!

 

I can provide a photo if required.

Why the hell is there evo 8 wheels on it?

 

Maybe it's a transform-a-car and switches between an 300/Evo. Sounds like the most reasonable explanation to me.

I know who used to own it, and to any older regulars on here they should of regonised it straight away from the holes in the nose panel.... It used to belong to mantaV8 and was sold to a lady over on the ZClub site before he left for Spain

his nose holes were other way up on the nose panel...could be the same car but i'm not 100% convinced but does look very close

Arrr good point! Got to admit I did it from memory ;)

wings have no vents on the stolen one either...that said pop the bonnet and if its a V8 under the hood then yep its manta :D

The back's completely different though.

Different brakes, wheels, bumper etc.

Going to ring police again to see if it's been reported stolen. If it's not then I might remove battery leads. I don't wanna get my fingerprints on it though lol!

 

I picked up my drill from home this morning and forgot to bring it to work - was going to install a new camera, set it to constant record and broadcast the cam on the internuts for you guys for some mild amusement.

The holes did remind me manta, but don't reckon that's it

Hahaa sounds like a good idea. Where can you get a clamp from for a decent price nowadays? Argos? lol.

 

If it were near me i would borrow you a clamp lol have had it for nearly a year after my dads bmw got clamped :innocent: lol

If it's not reported stolen in 3 weeks just put a finders claim in for it and fix it up. Shouldn't cost much to sort out.

I'm thinking they thieves will try and grab it tomorrow, as they left it here last Saturday.

 

Brought my drill with me today to see if I can get the time to set up a camera.

Had a look at the bonnet, not sure how to open it without breaking into the car myself.

 

Anybody now how to open a 300zx bonnet using the holes in the front or sommet? Lol

Not the best idea lol, if it is stolen or even dup'd it would have your prints all over it, i'd say leave well alone until it's ownership is confirmed or the council puts a notice on it
