Well almost 4 years after Yaseen left his damaged slicktop TT shell at my place it fired up in its new NA guise. Only on 3/4 cylinders cos it still has the same petrol in it!:blink:

And the engine fitted at the moment has been sitting around as long or longer than the car, much of the time outside.

However it was a happy moment and Im sure some new fresh petrol , plug clean and a check on some (probably green ) injector connectors will have it up on 6 cylinders.

The engine itself was fully 100% OK and tested before I removed it from its last shell all those years ago.

Woohoo!!:nana2::nana2:

LOL! It was a lovely motor before that lampost jumped out and hit it. I helped Yaseen strip the car after I brought it back to my house from Jeffs old place in Tamworth.

I only had the stripped rolling shell . yaseen sold all the good stuff from it and you were obviously one of the buyers.

I subsequently re panelled it from several breakers I bought over the following 3 years.
