Hi all, I need some help if possible.

Last night I noticed the pipe in the below picture seems to have snapped off front the 'T' piece.

It doesn't actually seem to have any air or anything there though and the car seems to be ruuning fine.

It is on the offside of the engine bay. One of the pipes it connects to via the 'T' piece goed the the front of the car and disappears down underneath the Hard pipes.

The bit that has came loose appears to go around the back of the engine and then drops down next the the battery and looks to go close to the near side turbo.

Any ideas anyone?

I think it is from your wastegate actuator control from down near the turbo. It passes through a 3 way coupling, then goes around the back of the engine to the other side. At the T-peice, it then goes forward toward the front of the car to the re-circulation unit, I think?

looks like the boost solenoid is disconnected have you got a ebc?

Yeah I have a greedy profec b mate. Is it okay that that is disconnected?

Osty1 - if it is from my external wastegates what problems would it cause me?

Alan - I've not really been driving ig hard at all mate. Only looked at the bit when stationary and it don't look to be having anything coming from it, not even air... When on tickover.

Th come up from wastegate actuator then i think t peace off two your front hard big air intake at the front of engine and they also join together around the back of engine then go to your ebc because they used to go to the boost solenoid. i think.

Halfrauds will have one mate. Look where they keep the water jet fixings for the windscreen washer's.

yeah they would need to be disconnected if you have a ebc, so looks like the plumbing for it has come loose then! if it was me i would rip it out and replace it with some nice silicone boost hose.
