RPS MAX CARBON CLUTCH KITS

After a bit of confusion with a couple of suppliers i use in states, i may have 4 instead of 2 clutch kits coming, they are a complete kit with new slave cylinder and bearings, choice of either a 6 puck SPRUNG hub( solid ones are crap)will take up to 700 pounds of torque or the with the street disc will take upto nearly 600 pounds of torque, now before yer shout, " im no where near that" should you be the kinda guy that likes to do the odd donut and wheel spinning, your clutch gets very hot and these will withstand it, hence why b12andy uses one rated at 1000 bhp, so better to have one that will take what ever you throw at it and laeve room for more, than one that is nearly at it's limit, cost of these delivered to yer door is £510 6 puck one and £500 street version for the KIT.

Mail me if intersted

I may be interested in one of these. I've had problems with my clutch ever since i can remember!. Its started slipping again after six months of wear so i'll be needing a new one.

Does the rps clutch kit come with a pressure plate?. What BHP can they handle?. Do you have a pic?. Are they a double plate or single plate type?.

Let us know mate,

Kash, will dig the info out and mail it to yer buddy, the 6 puck sprung hub ones are well suited for cars with decent mods and bigger turbo's, which i think you got,oh and are cheaper than what a well known tuning garage in Maldon are selling theirs for, which are of a lesser spec..

cheers

Here's the info on these clutches that a couple of you guys have asked about, be quick though if you want one, 2 of the 4 are gone.

"This package includes the RPS Max Series Pressure Plate and the RPS Carbon Claw 6 puck (sprung hub) disc. The Sprung Hub disc is a 6 puck design with alternating pucks of carbon & metal along with springs surrounding the hub for extra dampening, giving the ultimate combination of holding power & excellent driveability. This clutch kit can hold up to 700 foot pounds of torque & is 67% stiffer than stock. This is the ultimate power holding (yet streetable) setup available. No one except RPS makes a clutch that will hold this kind of power for your Z at a cost of under $1500. RPS is half the price of a comparable clutch! RPS is the only company that manufactures a multi-puck disc with springs on them. If you care about the streetability of a clutch, if you care about the life of your transmission, select a sprung hub disc. The kit includes the throwout bearing, pilot bearing, & a new slave cylinder".
