I had the cats removed, middle boxes took out so straight through stainless to the back boxes. Very Loud

 

 

Had enough last year so I took it back to the place who done it, crossed their greasy palms with another £300 and had quieter back boxes fitted. Still Very Loud.

 

They told me the only way to go any quieter now is to fit a standard restrictive back box on and have a totally standard exhaust note.

 

Am I right in thinking if I got some middle boxes and had them refitted it would quieten down or just restrict flow? Do you think it would make much difference.

Yeah, get some decent centre boxes fitted and you should notice a drop in db. Won't really restrict the flow and you won't notice it.

they're talking rubbish, what you want to search for is resonators, they can be added to your decats and/or mid section
