Will any ballast work with any HID?

As above, i need to know as i bought some new 55W HIDs from Hong Kong, and one of the ballasts is not working properly.

    Should be fine as long as the output states it can handle 55w, but to be honest ive seen a few that can do both, most are designed to do the same.

    Be careful, 35w ballasts are the most commonly sold versions and will NOT work with 55w bulbs. If you need a 55w ballast for your Hong Kong made kit then let me know as I stock them.
