Idle control valve bypass

I have had intermittent cutting out issues for a while and always linked it in some way to the idle control and a fast idle which was likely to be the fast start valve, have replaced them both cleaned them but every now and then it would still annoyingly cut out.

I have binned them all and replaced the idle control with a 15mm ball valve and set the idle to 900rpm, its been on for a month now, been to Crail for a track/drift day, been to the lakes and not cut out once.

Need to rig up something for a fast idle as its a bit lumy for the first 30seconds with out the fast idle.
