Long story but I have had a Yamaha Jog RR Moped stuck in my garage for 3 years. How it ended up there was a the young lad fell off it a broke the number plate and cracked the back light outside my house. He did not want to ride it home so I said stick it in my garage pick it up later. Now 3 years later can if fix it up and sale it? Will apply for the log book 1st.

Cant see why did not pick it up is a very good looking and clean moped.

Any help.

Strange one that?? maybe he was driving it stolen?? so you have stolen property in your garage naughty boy :sneaky2:

After 3 years I'd say so.....

.....apply to DVLA for a V5 in your name first. They may contact the previous owner to see if he no longer owns it; then once you get the certificate in your name go for it!

LOL....

.....you can of course contact the police; if no-one claims it after so many months I believe you are allowed to keep it anyway.

I would contact the Roazza's first, just in case it recorded as stolen. Imagine you applying 4 the V5 and Bodie and Doyle come round your house to nick ya. Do you think they would believe your story that you were looking after it for someone (You don't even know).

if you contact the police first, tell them what happened and suggest that its just like finding it, then if after 6 weeks noone has claimed it then its legally yours. a friend of mine did this with a really nice mondeo(if possible)and 6 weeks later it was his , it was parked outside his for a couple of months so he thought it would be worth a go,
