Rust, good o' rust

I have a 94 UK TT, I see the rear wheel arches are beginning to subdue to rust, and when I look underneath and inside the arches I can see more of the damn stuff. Do UK zeds suffer more that imports? and what is the cost of getting rid of this.

    Yes UK models are a lot more prone to it than the imports, having had to deal with nearly 20 years of salty british roads. Although I've seen some shocking pics of rust on imports!

    Generally, yes UK's do suffer more. However a fair few "imports" have been in the country for years and will also be suffering from rust.
