Weird one this I think chaps.

My car is idling at about 2k revs from cold, is this normal?

Main reason for this is, I'm out in my car now and when I'm putting the air con to have any kind of heat in it, its just stinking the car out. Any thoughts guys?

Didn't say the bombs wouldn't work mate. Just personally didn't want to use them and cover it up,want to find the problem out, glad I didn't just try to hide the smell and I've found out the problem.lol.

3 hours around greenock and nobodyyyyyyyy has and general heating pipes available. So went into "autobahn" a local garage that do all kinds of cars, guys has a 280zx, with 180sx and previously a z31.

But he had no hose:( hes certain its a 15mm for those 2 pipes that require the bypass.

The guy really knows his stuff, had a good chat with him so its booked in tomorrow for a health check, to see what he comes back with, probably an oil change also.

So he supplied me with some heat tape or something or other, put that round the hose in place to try and keep the heat out of the engine.
