Am i right in saying(ref fan)

Am i right in saying that the electric fan on rad is for and called :Air/Con Condenser cooling fan and only comes on when you put on the air con or does it come on if engine hot aswell?

Featured Replies

as far as i know its the sub fan, mine has only ever turned on once, this was after sitting in solid traffic for an hour. didnt even think it worked.

ive stripped out air cone so i think rather spending money on aftermarket fan and mounting it itll be easyer to put that back and put a swicth in so i can turn on in heavy traffic.

It comes on at 94c (aircon on) or 104c (aircon off) as an emergency cooling fan.
seems to be high temp much rather turn on if you see temp moving above the norm
