Just though i would share my picture`s with you lot! I made this myself using fibreglass and body filler, but i had to give it the bodyshop for the final finish, it looks great in the flesh, not perfect but nealry :thumbup:

I had my headlight inners done at the same time aswell, nice and shiny :yes:

 

 

 

Thought of that, the only thing i can see being a problem is the reverse button, and the resale value if i ever need to sell it, would you buy a second hand car that has had the gear stick cut down?

I don't know the ins and outs of how it attaches but I wasnt meaning to do anything too drastic. Is it not possible to modify one and keep a spare shifter for resale time?

Yeh, I suppose so! i could nick one from my scrapper and experiment with it, there is a metal shaft underneath the knob with the reverse mechanism underneath so this would need cutting too :sweatdrop:will look well better smaller though:w00t:

Looks really nice Daz. I see you have the same Eonon DVD player that i have just installed in mine lol.

I did! if you look closley on the first pic you can see the 1st layer of fibreglass, its see through and hard to see, i forgot to take the pics when building the fibreglass up :wink:

I just used some stuff from Halfords mate, p38 easy sand, fibreglass kit, some smoothing knives, electric detail sander, and some very fine sandpaper, high build pimer hides a lot of nasties, but as i said i gave it to the body shop for the final finish as i kept getting dust dropping in my paint, they have the right enviroment to spray stuff :cool3:

Took a pic of it today so thought i'd let you see it. Was in two minds weather to have it flush with the facia or set back like yours.
