hi all. just reading up on the laws for rear illuminations on vehicles before i go down the road of rear panel lighting DIY ( thanks sussex stu for pointing out the you tube vid ). Think to keep within the law i will have to go with red ? think green can only be shown on a doctors car?

so am thinking perhaps of tiny red 12v led's with a diffuser either wired to brake lights or side lights.

has anyone been pulled over by the flashing blues yet for the same idea ? or come to think of it any other wierd and wonderful lighting modifications ?

I got pulled over once for having side lights with a blue tinge fitted to the front, not on the Z though, and unsure if it's illegal etc,

 

but you will be safe for sure with red :)
