We all have something that winds us up to the very brink of lashing out.....so what is your pet hate?

When I just got home, some GOON has parked in such a way that I had to park right on the edge of a junction - OUTSIDE MY OWN HOUSE. If he thought he was leaving a good gap for a car between him and the other Rover he needs to re-take his license or move somewhere where everybody drives a G-WHIZZ. If someone slams into my rear quarter because of that FLANGE, ima gonna be cross!

people who talk to anyone with a disability like they are 3 years old

Got to agree with this one. A couple of years ago my dad had an an anerysm which then led to a stroke and unfortunately is now in a permanent vegetitive state. My mum looks after hom but has to have carers and one of them was telling him about her 'big scary motorbike' and then started making brum noises! Probably have to have lived it to relate to it but its bloody horrible seeing someone who built a house with his bare hands spoken to like that!

Other things are old people with no manners. I meet hundreds of people a day in my job and I've gotta say old people are far worse than young people for not saying thank you or please. Then the minute you say something they say, "Respect your elders!" I have to laugh or I'd bloody punch them hahaha

A lot of things can annoy me as I've become more of a miserable b@stard the older I've become (LOL - Julia has lots more to look forward to.....); however I can find a way to rise above most of them.

Yes, old gits who crawl along our roads at 20 below the speed limit are annoying. But as I have fast cars, I just overtake them and don't get stressed!

Yes, chavs also irritate me. Luckily I live in a nice area so I can get away from them; but when I do go into places like High Wycombe or Aylesbury I relieve the annoyance by laughing at them........!

And then there are the chav types who think that speaking like Ali G is "cool!" especially in the East End. A good old fashioned cockney accent can have its charm but this modern "street-speak?" Oh please!!! GROW UP FFS!! But again I seek solace by laughing at them; and suddenly the urge to ram a dustbin down their throat gently subsides........

However on the road I fear that poor parking really boils my piss. As I'm obsessive about my cars, I hate the thought that some careless twat will open their door onto mine and scuff or dent a panel. Especially as parking bays are not as wide as they should be. Consequently I try to park in an "end" bay miles from the entrance of the supermarket/m-way service station etc etc.....

.....Yet whenever I return to my car, I can almost guarantee that there will be a badly parked Galaxy/Zafira/Scenic etc etc next to me. And I just know that the owner's rancid brood will have nonchalantly flung their door open with scant regard to my car parked next to them. For that matter, I hate MPVs in general - mainly because their drivers are ususally the most self absorbed morons who, typical of modern society, have little regard for anyone else and think the sun shines out of their little brats' arses......

Sorry - rant over. Deep breaths, peace and love to all........

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

You mean there are more?? Agree with some though and made me laugh

Don't know where to start and then wouldn't be able to stop so everyone and everything should cover it....

In order from Slightly Miffed to Mad as a Lorry (any other Brass Eye fans out there? :D )

  • People who aren't ready to pull away when the light changes green, but instead suddenly 'realise' after about 3 seconds and throw the gear in and take the handbrake off in a panic.
  • People who turn off a road but take about 20 seconds to do it, almost forcing you into the other lane.
  • People who don't realise that if there's parked cars in their lane, they have to give way to oncoming traffic and instead just pull into my lane and expect me to wait for them (happens to me almost every day)
  • Middle-lane hoggers.
  • People who drive well under the speed limit, or stick to 40 when the limit changes between 60 and 30 and back to 60.
  • People who pull out in front of you on a fast road, but don't bother getting up to speed as soon as they can, but gently tickle the throttle forcing you to brake harshly to prevent you from going into the back of them.
  • Chavs who walk up to a crossing, but instead of slow down when they near the road, the walk right up to the edge at a constant speed and suddenly stop. Whether they do this to panic you into thinking theyre about to walk out, or if they are genuinely so stupid that they can only recognise terrain that's 30cm in front of them I don't know.
  • Chav mothers who do the above ^ but with their prams - standing waiting for the traffic to stop with their poor old baby in the pram with its face stuck in the passing traffic.

That will do for now.

Somebody today ground my gears! It's a bikers rally - I was at at the pumps for 10 mins waiting for the guy infront of me to finish filling up, and just as he was ready to drive off another biker came up beside me and drove right in despite my engine running etc!

ARGH

Thought of another one! People who sit there at traffic lights and then as soon as the lights turn green, pull forward two yards and put their indicators on!!! Why didnt you have them on when you pulled up to the lights coz then I could have gone in the other lane!?!?!?

fu**ing political adverts at the mo!!!!!!

people who complain about me parking half on the kerb and half off so that there's more road space and less likely for it to get smashed into!

people who complain that im using too much of the road when parked and that i should put half the car up on the kerb!!! i cant win!!

pot holes,

dust, i wash the car and an hour later its all dusty again! (tesco building new supermarket down the road!)

I currently hate adverts on telly like confused.com, where they are trying to make it look like real customers being interviewed when its quite clearly paid actors. Also the Halifax adverts in the radio station makes me want to put holes in the wall at the moment.

What really grips my shit.....

- Old people who are practically blind, that cause accidents and drive away completely oblivious to the fact that they caused it, but shaking their heads as they realise that some 'youngster' has just had an accident

- When people write 'lol' on messages when it really isn't funny in the slightest

- 12 year old Knob heads on forums (such as DRIFTWORKS) who are too young to drive/hold a licence and are blatantly jumping on the band wagon offering up 'google quick search' advice just to sound like they know what the f**k they are talking about

- Forums "yeah will" arse kissing types who latch onto the so called 'faces' on the scene, in an attempt to boost both their's and their counterparts standing on the forums

- Bull**it spec lists for cars that are in reality a work of fiction and not actually fitted

- Ebay car adverts who's mods consist of chrome exhaust tips, an air filter and an air freshener from Halfords but claim to be running 600bhp+ 'cos it's 'chipped'!!!!

- When your computer crashes just before you place your winning bid on ebay

or

as above but the computer screen go's blank then you realise that your 18 month old daughter is sat by the plug socket with an innocent look on her face
