should i be worried?

Hi Guys

Went to Milton Keynes last night, which is about an hour's drive. On the way there, (about 3/4 ) i noticed the oil Temp was running at about 102/103 degrees. i had not thrashed it in any way, but just took it easy (had the wife on board) i kept an eye on it till i parked up, stayed 100-103. Went home later after 2 hours, temp was no prob, stayed 85-90, i have noticed it go up to 97/99 after some positive driving... but it always returned to normal.

is this something to worry about?, what exactly goes on with the oil, is it gearbox oil?

any advice would be helpful.

Cheers

BTW its a TT
