I like watching all types of films, i can watch anyting. but there is one film i simply cannot watch!!

American werewolf in London, i tried watching it a number of times but for some reason i cant. I know the reason why!!

The first time i ever saw it, i was about 13 years old, my dad got hold of a pirate copy. Whilst mum and dad were working, me and my sister watched it after school. scarred the sh*t out of me. For the next few days i was petrified.

2 weeks later i did my first ever carp fishing night session on my own, i got to the lake where i had fished for ages, but at night. sorted my bivvy (tent) out, got the rods out, and i was night fishing. But come nightfall it was a full moon, and to top it all there was a very low fog over the lake, then i convinced myself there was something on the island in the middle of the lake, looking at me. Every time i rubbed my eyes, i could still see a pair of red eyes staring at me acorss the lake, i wound the rods in and spent the whole night barricaded in my tent.

Honestly to this day, i still cant watch the dam film.

What else freaks you out????? and why

Watch it now mate it'll just make you laugh.. For me it's Flatliners, watched it once but one day when my mates and I had been on a bender, we decided to watch it again and it freaked me out so much I can't watch it now.

Horrors never freak me out. Chillers and thrillers do though. Films that aren't 'obvious' like horror films. I like films that mess with your mind and I find good chillers and thrillers tend to.

me none, im rock hard lol

but my mate is terrified of predator, he will leave a house if its on lol

but honestly, im not afraid of any horrors, but i always think someone is watching when im alone in the dark but i confront whatever i think is there and it never shows

lol :lol::lol:

I had soooo the same experience when i was about 13 too!! not fishing, but rooting around an old mansion, I swear red eye`s were watching me too, I ran about 5 miles all the way home after watching the original chainsaw massacre :sweatdrop::sweatdrop:

horrors are way too predictable and dont do it for me i get bored watching them and they are so fookin stupid. like chain saw massacre the guy can hardly walk and as soon as one of the kids runs off at full rate he manages to out run him while carrying a chain saw.

Wrong Turn is pretty f**ked up, love that film but the bit when they try and get out the house without being heard, thats pretty intense. Theres nothing I cant watch though.

Totally agree, but thats coz your getting old, horror films when your in pre teens are awesome!!! I find it hard to find any films good nowadays, they are all the same ,been done before, ect

i think most modern horror is shite and follows the same formula. I watched the first third of that Drag me to hell and then just thought this is rediculous and ive seen it a hundred times before.

Can't beat a bit of Shining or Fog (the original), but the one horror film that really sh@ me up was Event Horizon - the imagery of hell in that really fooked me up for a few days. very clever and very very disturbing, to me anyway.

horrors are good, but you cant beat a true life scare. Snooping around old lunatic asylums and hospitals has left me with many stories and Derek Acorah would have a frickin' field day LOL

Watch Antichrist (Willem Dafoe)

that film is f*cked up

Slow but will do your head in by the end

Excellent film. Not overkilled, no special effects, just tense and nasty

i always thought that programme was a bit of a laugh but they was proper shi**ing themselves.

It was dawn of the dead for me watched it as a kid at the local youth club one of the older lads brought it in ,It scared the shit out of me but watched it a few years back and now wonder why?

I watched about 20 mins of THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT in the 80's had to turn off.

The modern version is crap!!!

What he said... have watched it all the way through, quite a disturbing

film. Can see where Wes Craven got his ideas for freddy from.

All modern versions of any film are crap, cant beat the originals.

agreed, horrors bore the pants of me, i believe a good film where less equal more is a lot more scary.

I watched half of the grudge and didn't like the thought of kids as ghosts. Got to the scene where some woman was going up in a lift and as the lift passed every floor the same ghost kid peers in. Freaked me out and I had to turn it off!

When I was 14 I was coming back from a school trip to France. We was in the middle of nowhere when the nus broke down! It was half ten at night and pitch black in a foreign country when the bus driver announces he has Scream on video! We put it on and Ive never been so scared! All around was darkness and bushes and to make it worse I had a window seat haha. Never been able to watch the film since lol

Stephen kings It....i watched it last year and i completly freaked.....ive got this weird hatred of clowns,,,they scare the shit out of me...
