Hi Guys, i need your expertise in ALL jap cars.

There was i toodling along the dual carriage way at 50 mph, when a car overtook me at speed and braked late to the roundabout to turn left up a hill where only the brave overtake in the face of oncoming traffic, well what could i do.. i hadn't given the Zed a good blast to clear the cobwebs for a few weeks, so i followed it up the hill , now this went on for about a half mile, i ever overtook him but i did keep up, my bottle ran out before my right foot.

Now my question, this car was deffo a Jap Motor, it was really low and wide at the back with a raised boot spoiler with downward curves at the end, not to dissimilar t othe 99 spec, The lights seemed to have horizontal slats or plastic. thats all i can remember, so has anyone got any ideas what it is?

Oh one more thing, it was Red...

Hmmmmmmmm, was it a modern or old school car?

It was definitely old school, 92-93 Mitzi gto is the closest so far, i might go down the industrial park where he disappeared and go look for it.

Was the GTO quicker than a Zed

no, GTO is marginally slower but not much in it really.

im intrigued to know what this could be know.lol. Just get flicking through banzai online to see what look familiar to you.

Unless it was wide-arched up I doubt it was an RX7 if it was wide, they seem tiny in real life!

just to throw in a curve ball here but r u sure it was jap?

wide, with spoiler that curved downwards, & slats on the light?? hmmmm

could be the GTO because the active aeros are active over 30mph whcih whcih raises the rear spolier and drop the front.

Ian, it deffo wasn't you,

i cant seem to get over the image that sticks in my mind the most was that it was wide and low at the back, from these pics i'm sure it was a GTO. i'm still going to track him down and find out for sure.
