Cheers Mate,

Just wondered as I have one but off the road, when it gets back on the road it will be a manual lol,

150-155 is not bad at all for a n/a auto bet it takes a while to get there compared to a TT lol.

The old mk3 supra did 140 :wack:

90% of the cars that have 220hp will crack the 150 mark but is all depends on the condition of the engine i surpose at this age :whistling:

Is there anyone with an N/a in good shape who has tried to get it up to max speed on a Private road etc?

as there seems to be a few varying figures on here now

I have hit 140 in mine and pretty sure it would go further if I had enough straight road.

when i had it, i done 140 in my n/a auto, and that wasent according to the speeodo as it didnt work very often, i went by the sat nav, dont think it would do much more though

had 155 out of my bme 328i coupe!

Seen 145 (Satnav GPS) in a NA Manual, and that was not flatout, there was an Evo in the way that was holding us up and wouldn't move over. I'd expect it to go 150-155

The NA auto is noticably slower than a NA Manual though, but geared slightly longer - hard to say how the auto top speed would compare to the Manual.

My Vectra GSi has a top speed of 149, I've had a 143 out of it and it still had a bit more to give (not much though). I would expect the NA zed to be faster, based on 30odd more bhp and its lighter and has a better gear ratio. This obviously isn't a scientific conclusion!

148 at 6300rpm but its unlikely with stock power it will get there, if its theoretical maximum your after you should stick with the auto its got longer legs

Thanks for the extra comments on this the standard top speed of the n/a does interest me, so do we doubt a standard non tub auto could get to 155 mph then (on a sat nav)
