Think the imobiliser is draining the battery as if battery left disconnected it still ok,anyone had similar proplems.

Featured Replies

how long is it taking to drain? as any alarm if set will drain after a while or u could have a bad earth somewhere?

sigma immobiliser only pulls about 200 milli amps when active so would take months to drain a fully charged battery

Paul.

i had that on mine, turned out the boot light was staying on, but you don't see it...

what's the solution if the boot light is staying on? is this a problem with the alarm (I have a Toad) or is something in the boot not making contact to tell the light it's shut and therefore to go out? my battery barely lasts a week if left without driving. :(

Mine will only sit for 7 to 10 days without starting before going flat even though it only pulls .4 amp with ign off which is well within tolerences
