blue ZED turning around opposite the Welsh zed centre nr wrexam

there's a Welsh Zed Centre?

hahahhaahaaaa,,, my bad!!! zed on the brain!! no its the MG centre! lol was changing a speedo cable on a mgb roadster and found out it snapped because the speedo clock had seized, hence why i was at the MG centre!! not zed! lol

Only ever seen a red zed in Wrexham apart from my own that is

i've been that way with mine a few times not seen a red one about, could be billy from deeside though ?

The red one is usually by the Gresford roundabout. I see it there quite a bit as its only across the road from the in laws. Never seen a blue one though and I almost live on that road.

Ahhh ok well i dont think billy has his on the road at the min, so prob someone directly from the area?

yeah blue with a smooth rounded rear bumper, didnt see front, two large exhausts and 5 spoke alloys (i think)

Should now state that I have only ever seen a red zed and now a yellow one too in the Wrexham area.

there are a couple i see around here but only one member from here the other two are in Chester and dont come on the forum as far as i'm aware, you ever get deeside way?

Was up that way last week actually, don't really get up there that often though. Their used to be quite a big street racing part to deeside, don't know if there still is.

You should call in next time for a cuppa :d

 

...and yeah the main road used was a private one on a industrial estate but not used as much it all got a bit out of hand with cars and motorbikes using the land so kind of became a police hotspot, think it goes on more over the port way now, i have seen a few cars down that way but not as many as in the past the ajoining land is mainly now used as a motorbike track!

I remember reading about their being a massive clamp down on the street racing. They were never safely organised by all accounts either. Heard a few cars had some pretty brutal accidents.

 

Cheers for the offer, will have to take you up on it next time I am in the area. On a side note, how strange is it when you see another zed, wave to the driver and then tell your other half you are not sure who it is but you know them off the internet. Had a few odd looks off her when we spotted the yellow zed

Yeah one lad ended up getting very seriously hurt to my knowledge, and yeah your welcome anytime mate.

 

... Z wise i only drove my Z through Wrexham and back through Hope a couple of times and did get some strange looks and even around 3 beeps on one trip ( i ended up pulling up checking my lights) but think they where just beeping at the car lol
