a) because its a heavy spare which is manky, used, and a pain to transport..

 

b) because he found out it wasn't capable of handling the upped power through trial and error ;)

It was cheap cos only 2 people in the UK wanted a box at the time the auction ended and were prepared to collect it or arrange a courier.

Heavy? its lighter than an auto!, used? new ones are £1800+ and they cost about £45 to courier any where in UK! a bargain in my eyes :wink:

e bay has become a dung heap of late where its commonplace for turds to be offered for sale under a carefully worded advert which ensures no come back once the buyer realises they have been had.The times ive heard people say if something is f**ked "oh well i will sell it on e bay then" :no:

Arent the stock boxes able to handle up to like 600/700bhp?? Read a S13 build by a pro it was on like 700bhp running the standard Z32 manual gearbox!

 

Or am i imagining things?

that same gearbox was sold on ebay for even less some months back. as said before the advert pic is rubbish and doesnt help.

Pay-pal is your freind Jimmer! if you get a raw deal they normaly give the funds back in a instant. I`ve had a few problems with stuff not turning up or not working and pay-pal are obliged to refund and it works.:yes:

 

I took a gamble getting my full gearbox conversion through e-bay and so far so good and I also bought my vert through e-bay, Infact most things i own are from e-bay :chinese:

Sure for somebody in desperate need of the part I daresay it would be worth the going rate and more, but I just mean in general buying and delivering (or picking up in 90% of cases) a gearbox is often more hassle than many people are prepared to go through. Then there's fitting it :crying:

 

 

I got my LSD prelude box for 30 bucks even though the going rate is easily 200+.. the fella just couldn't sell it due to his location.

Ive been told that but never known anyone whos used it after a problem and been satisfied.I had a conversation with my bank about me sending large amounts of money to the states via paypal :thumbdown: as getting your money back can be a problem if something goes wrong.My missus sold a pair of shoes to a woman in Poland who paid by paypal.She recieved the money and posted them promptly.Paypal said the womans payment was fraudulent and removed the money from her account the :xxx: after several e mails to them she never ever got a reply and lost out with no explanation why.My banks legal advisor said they get constant complaints from their customers who had bad dealings with paypal,hence the reason i buy all my Z1 parts by credit card.
