At one stage, I was going to try to do this "properly" - but ran out of steam / time / resource. Anyhow, the chief teapot isn't letting me go to Billing this year so I can make this suggestion without fear of being held responsible for the success / failure.

 

1) We all love this forum

 

2) Many have supported fund-raising and, I am sure, many others feel the same.

 

3) Like JVN, many of us have "stuff" cluttering up the garage.

 

4) Many are going to Billing.

 

Suggestion - why not post here stuff you want to get rid of and are happy to donate part of the proceeds to forum expenses.

 

Settlement at Billing where Craig / Nic can get their hands on the moolah.

 

Me - I've got a genuine centre section Nissan exhaust for a 2+2. Best offer secures, 1/3rd to forum kitty.

 

(If this is a crap idea - sorry - it seemed like a good one at the time!)

What an excellent idea, I will go along with donating from the sale proceeds to the forum fund raising kitty as you suggested.

 

The bits I will be bringing are on the for sale forum, excluding the bloody block and heads as the back of a 2+2 ain't big enough to fit them in. Anyone wants to buy them before and arrange to bring the cash then let me know so that I definately fit them in the car.
