Long time no post - Poor Z has been sitting in the garage for a year feeling sorry for its self, so have decided to put it back on the road (I will renew membership as and when it is) Anyways....

 

The reason it was put off the road was it constantly popped water hoses, as soon as one was fixed another would go, therefor ive been following the aus300zx guide on doing the plenum pull.

 

I have gone over the removal guide a good 6 or 7 times but I still cannot get the plenum to lift off - its wiggling but will not lift - anyone got any ideas?

make sure that you remove all the bolts that run down the centre, then ensure the brackets are off that hold it onto the block. Then just give it a good tug. Its probably being held on with water pipes underneath that you will delete anyhows!.
