Needs a nice spring clean, whats the best cleaner to use on inner wings etc.

You gonna sort out front front styling?

 

Give me a bloomin chance:biggrin: want to sort oil leaks and other little issues first.

 

Working from inside out:blink: still un decided about the front at the moment may just try the front panel first.:thumbup1:

In terms of Jobs to do. I pretty much did everything I could think of at the time. I had almost a year with the car and no engine so had plenty of time to play around.

 

All I can suggest is a good clean and maybe a tidy up and inspection of the wires/ looms/pipe and a good wash judging on how the engine bay looked the last I saw it.

:yes::yes:Looks familiar :whistling: in a past thread you mentioned that you had a similar prob with manifold blowing am i right:wink: and if so was it the o/s one?

Manifold?

Not me Dave, The only thing blowing on that car was the turbo.

Never had any manifold issues with it myself.

When i got you, can you remind me again what you did for fog lights?

 

as i said the red switch where cruise usually is has been disconnected! spoke to leigh he said not down to him!!

 

Is it just a case of finding a wire from the rear light clusters that you poss ran and follow it back to switch:blink:

A/C is that air con? cause i kinda dumped that!

Congrats matey, did the gear box trick work? by the looks of it, it did. Nice to know a bit of advice helped someone else out.

yep, its for the air con, only raises the idle when the AC is being used so, if you've junked it, it dont matter :D

One thing you may be able to help me on i need a hose but to be honest wouldn't no how to describe it is there a diagram about with all the hoses

What sort of area is the hose in?

 

Is it water, oil or air ?

 

Have a look on courtesyparts.com as they usually have diagrams of exactly where the hoses come from and the part numbers of new ones that you can use to order from MJB in the UK.

Funny enough i was looking on courtesys site a few moments ago but cannot identify part!

Top left - if its one of bigger hoses then it will be the Clutch or Brake booster pipes.
