I am lucky enough to have a spare VG30DETT in the garage, me and my mate were discussing sticking it in a classic car. I've got the engine crossmember, mounts, loom, ecu, etc etc, what would be a good car for it do you think?

 

I originally planned to keep it as a spare and get it uprated and rebuilt for mine, but I also like the idea of a one-off project car. Purely speculation at the mo, but open to any ideas flying around? :thumbup:

An interesting idea and instantly makes me think of the ford anglia build someone was doing a while back?, i'd have to go for the z31 route or even a 280zx as there a bit cheaper at the min ;)

It was, but I think it was known as the Bluebird or 1600. The 1500 Fairlady used the same chassis I think. All gets a bit confusing as this was the era that Katayma was trying to bring more funky cars into the US.
