So, after a nice sunny Saturday involving a drive in the Z; giving the grass its first mow of the year and relaxing in the sun with the newspaper....

 

.....Julia and I decided to try out the new Thai restaurant that has only just opened in the village.

 

And it was excellent!! We had a great meal; including "mixed starters" followed by (BIG) tiger prawns in tamarind; duck curry and steamed sea bass with lemon and chilli, and some jasmine rice; followed by coconut ice cream and jasmine tea....

 

......oh; all washed down with a couple of Singha beers, a bottle of wine and one or two sambuccas; I'm feeling quite mellow and content.

 

All is well in the world - but I'd say the alcohol has more than a little influence on it!!!

    LOL - yep! And I haven't been lazy and ignoring it either!!! I guess spring starts earlier in the south west.......

     

    ....well, there were daffodils sprouting through when we were in Cornwall back in January:huh:
